Wall-to-wall white and chrome is the default aesthetic for many bathrooms. While white might tick boxes for looking clean, and being practical and hygienic, where’s the personality? Thankfully, more colour in the bathroom is on the up, and we’re not just talking a lick of paint, but brightly hued basins, baths and taps, too.
Helen Jones, a designer at bathroom design company Ripples, says that bold colours were a very prominent feature at the huge annual bathroom trade fair ISH in Frankfurt.
